Richard D. Clark, of Malden, formerly of Melrose and Needham, died Friday, July 11th at his daughter’s home, after a long illness. He was 76.
Born in Melrose he was the son of the late Wesley and Bernice (Pierce) Clark. He served with the Air Force during the Korean War. He was a Member of the Melrose Elks Club. Richard operated the Hights Coffee Chop in Needham for many years. In his retirement he was an attendant at the Malden Municipal Parking Garage.
He was the beloved husband of the late Marilyn (Corcoran). He was a devoted father to Robert Clark of Vt., Patty Brook of Beverly, the late Barbara Ghilain and Richard Clark, Jr. He was a loving grandfather to Erikka, Toni, Brandi, Kristi and Eric. He was a dear brother of the late Marion Taylor.
A graveside service will be conducted in Forest Dale Cemetery, 150 Forest Street, Malden, Monday, July 21st at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
