New Bedford, MA.–Nancy J. ( Furtado ) Muraco aged 56 years passed away July 17, at St. Luke's Hospital after a lengthy battle with ovarian cancer.
She was the beloved wife of Joseph E. Muraco , mother of Amy and her husband Peter Dallaire of Lawrence, MA., Michael Muraco of New Bedford, Shawn Muraco of Fairhaven, grandmother of Sara, Maggie and Lyndsay Dallaire, sister of Roberta Cook and her husband Russell of Manchester, N.H., Charles F. Furtado Jr. and his wife Anne of New York, NY. She is also survived by 2 nieces and 2 nephews
Nancy was born in New Bedford, a daughter of Ethel (Robinson) Furtado of New Bedford and the late Charles Furtado. She was a graduate of New Bedford High Class of "69" and Southeastern Massachusetts University Class of "73" with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. Nancy loved to shop and be with her adorable triplet granddaughters. She was a customer representative at AT&T

In accordance with her wishes she will be cremated.
A Mass of Christian Burial with ashes present will be Saturday July 26th at Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish at 9 A.M. Relatives and friends are invited to meet at Church. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery. All will be welcome at Hawthorn Country Club folling burial.
