Joshua Ruel Lipat, 9, of Summerville, son of Ruel and Luz Silva Lipat died Tuesday, July 15, 2008 at Trident Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held Sunday, July 20, 2008 at 1 o’clock at Seventh Day Adventist Church, Summerville. Friends may call at the church from 12 o’clock until the hour of service on Sunday. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Seventh Day Adventist Church, 520 Gahagan Road, Summerville, SC 29483.
Joshua was born February 8, 1999 in Lexington, South Carolina. He was a third grade student at Sangaree Intermediate Elementary School. He enjoyed arts, crafts, painting, bowling and golfing. He was a member of Seventh Day Adventist Community Church.
Surviving in addition to his parents are:
3 sisters: Lyn Ivy Lipat of Summerville and Aurora Rachel Lipat of Summerville
Grandmother: Vrundencia Lipat of Germany
Several aunts, uncles and cousins.
