BEVERLY FARMS: Kenneth Richard LeBel, 51, died unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, July 16, 2008. He was one of the best people you could ever meet. He is survived by his absolutely adored wife of twenty-four years, Beth A. (McGann) LeBel.
Born in Jacksonville, North Carolina on July 8, 1957, he was the son of Richard L. and Lorraine L. (Jack) LeBel of Newburyport. He was a graduate of the Masconomet Regional High School in 1975 and Merrimack College in 1980. He had been a resident of Boxford for many years prior to moving to Beverly Farms twenty-four years ago.
He was employed as a Certified Public Accountant at Nutramax Products, Inc. in Gloucester. He had also once worked at John Hurley and Sons, Digital and Cabot Corporation. Ken was an intelligent, hard-working, funny and generous family man. He will be forever loved and missed by everyone who knew him. Ken loved spending time with his family on Thomas Pond in Raymond, Maine and snowmobiling.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by his three children, Katie, Ali and Andrew, who love him more than anything in the world. He also leaves two brothers and two sisters, Paul and his wife, Julie LeBel of Beverly, Lisa Hancock of Ipswich, Lorri, and her husband, Tom Denman of Byfield and Rick and his wife, Tonya LeBel of Atkinson, NH, an aunt, Claire and her husband, John MacQuilken, his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Richard and Barbara McGann, two brothers-in-law, Bill and his wife, Paula McGann and Bobby and his wife, Kathy McGann all of Beverly. He was an outstanding brother-in-law and son-in-law and was loved and cherished by his eleven nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Benjamin and Agnes Jack and paternal grandparents, Euclid and Edna LeBel.
His funeral services will be held on Monday morning in the St. John’s Episcopal Church, 705 Hale Street, Beverly Farms at 10 a.m. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday in the Grondin Funeral Home, 376 Cabot Street, Beverly from 2 – 6 p.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. Interment will be held in the Beverly Farms Cemetery.
