Peabody: Louise Danforth (Leach) Sternberg age 86 of Peabody, died Saturday, July 12, 2008 at the Rosewood Nursing Center in West Peabody. She was the wife of the late Albert Sternberg.
Born and raised in Peabody, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Bernice L. (Danforth) Leach. In her younger years, she was a member of the West Congregational Church Choir in West Peabody. For many years she was a production supervisor for Sylvania at both plants in Danvers. As a technical support specialist, Louise always managed to find a solution to a production problem. A kind and gracious woman, she was always willing to help others in her personal life as well as in her professional life. Louise and her late husband were residents of Magnolia for many years.
Louise is survived by several devoted cousins and friends.
