John F. Shepley, 78 years of Brockton died unexpectedly July 14, 2008 at the Brockton Hospital. Husband of Christine M. (DeAndrade) Shepley. He was born and raised in Boston, son of the late Thomas and Mary (Gammons) Shepley. He was a graduate of Hyde Park High School and following high school was employed by Domino Sugar Company of South Boston. He had been a Brockton resident since 1968. He was a veteran of Korea serving with the Air Force and had been employed as a jet mechanic for the Air Force for over 20 years. He was also employed by the City of Boston for over 20 years retiring in 1995. Following his retirement he enjoyed working around his home.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son Kevin J. Shepley of Brockton, a daughter Audrey L. Tellen of East Bridgewater; four grandchildren Nathaniel and Ben Tellen, Matthew and Graham Shepley and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service in Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Thursday at 11am. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. Visiting hours Wednesday 5-8pm.
