WORCESTER - Agnes L. (Anderson) Farrar, 90, formerly of 215 Holden Street, died Saturday, March 15 in the Christopher House of Worcester.

Her husband of 60 years James A. Farrar died in 1992. She leaves two daughters Janet L. Cerrone of Worcester and Cynthia M. Lazar of Boylston; a sister Ruth M. Potter of Fallon, Nevada; 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She is predeceased by three brothers John, Karl and George Anderson. She was born in Worcester daughter of John and Gerda (Lindberg) Anderson and lived here all her life.

Mrs. Farrar worked for the United States Postal Service and the United States Army Ordinance Inspector for many years. She was a member of St. George's Church.

The funeral will be held on Tuesday, March 18 from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home (www.Royfuneral.com) 12 Hammond Street with a mass at 10 AM in St. George's Church, 38 Brattle Street. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. Calling hours are Monday, March 17 from 5 to 8 PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Reverend James J. Close, Mission of Our Lady of Mercy Inc., Chicago, IL 60607.
