Peabody: Theresa L. ‘Terry’ (Boisvert) McAuley age 80 of Peabody, died Sunday, July 13, 2008 at the Salem Hospital following a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Donald J. “Jimmy” McAuley.
Born and raised in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Eugenie (Michaud) Boisvert. Terry first worked as a hairdresser for Rita’s Beauty Salon on Broadway in Salem. Following 12 years of hairdressing, she left the salon to work at Varian Associates of Beverly. Terry retired from Varian in 1984. Devoted to her husband ‘Jimmy,’ she cared him through his last illness until his death in 1999.
She is survived by several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She also leaves her devoted friends Betty Cyr and Pat Doherty.
Relatives and friends are invited gather for her funeral on Wednesday, July 16, 2008 at 10:30 am, at the Levesque Funeral Home, 163 Lafayette St., [Rt. 114 / 1-A] Salem followed by her funeral mass in Ste. Anne Church, 290 Jefferson Ave., Salem at 11 am.
Visiting hours will precede her funeral from 9 am to 10:30 am in the funeral home.
