GLOUCESTER: Kevin A. Rose, age 46, died unexpectedly Friday, July 11, 2008. He was the husband of Jane E. (Day) Rose.
Kevin was born in Gloucester on February 15, 1962. He was the son of Mary (Lucido) and Craige McCoy, and the late Richard Rose. He had attended Manchester High School and was a graduate of the North Shore Vocational High School class of 1980. Following graduation, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, having served for several years.
Kevin was employed in the shipping department at Best Buy in Danvers for the past year. He had also once worked at BOMCO, Inc. and the Hiltz Co. for several years.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by a son, Kyle Rose, a daughter, Samantha Rose, a granddaughter, Alexis Rose Vetrano, three sisters, Kim Rose, Michelle Strong and Melanie Matz, two brothers, Keith Rose and Mark McCoy, paternal grandmother, Eleanor Rose, stepmother, Joan Rose, several stepbrothers, a stepsister and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was also predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Gasper and Rose Lucido and paternal grandfather, Frank R. Rose.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday evening in the Pike-Grondin Funeral Home, 61 Middle Street, Gloucester from 5 – 8 p.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the family.
