Albert L. Wise, 58, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Friday, July 11, 2008, at his residence.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, July 14, 2008, at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel, Fitzgerald, with Rev. Emory Champion officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 Sunday evening at the funeral home.
Mr. Wise was born October 6, 1949 in Spruce Pine, North Carolina to Edith May Buchanan Lassiter and the late Grady Wise Jr. He had lived in Fitzgerald since 1981 and worked in floor maintenance at Wal-Mart. He had previously worked at Phar Yarn in North Carolina. He was of the Baptist faith.
Mr. Wise is survived by his mother: Edith Lassiter of Tallahassee, FL; three children: Shawn Wise of Cordele, Ashley Wise of Fitzgerald and Keith Wagner of Ohio; three grandchildren; three brothers: David Wise of Fitzgerald, Nelson Wise of Mt. Holly, N.C., and Roger Wise of Lowell, N.C.; as well as three sisters: Margaret Duncan of Tallahassee, FL, Mary Platt of Greencove Springs, FL and Corrina Robinson of Marion, NC.
