Nicholas “Nicky” Call, a life-long Medford resident died Friday at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital, after a long illness. He was 57.
The son of the late Albert and the late Helen (Assetta) Call, Nicky worked as a printer for many years with Benjamin Franklin Press in Boston.
He was the beloved husband of Donna (Picone) Call. He was a devoted father to Frank Call and Kristen Call, both of Medford. He was a loving grandfather to Riley Rena. He was a dear brother of Julia Call of Medford and the late Frank Call. He was the nephew of Mary McLean of Medford and is also survived by many aunts uncles and cousins.
His funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Tuesday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner Street, Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family, Monday 4 - 8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
