Obituary

WEBSTER – Franklin H. “Frank” Loring, 64, of 41 Joyce Street, died Thursday, July 10, in UMass/Memorial Healthcare, Worcester, after a long illness.

He leaves his wife of 22 years, Rita O. (Hoffman) Loring; 2 daughters, Rebecca Loring Bard of Newington, CT and Jennifer Loring of Killingly, CT; a stepson, Paul S. Morgan of Bristol, CT; his mother, Deborah Gagnon of Van Buren, ME; 2 sisters, Joan G. Bryl of Linden, Michigan and Edith M. DeWitt of Waterbury, CT; a grandson, Jacob Bard of Newington, CT; aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and cousins.

He was born and raised in Fort Fairfield, Maine, the first child of James and Deborah (Green) Loring. He lived in Connecticut and North Carolina before moving to Webster in April, 2004.

Mr. Loring was a truck driver for several companies. He was the manager of AL JIM Foods in Waterbury, CT and of C & K Movers in Hartford, CT. He retired in 2001 due to illness.

He was a member of the teamster’s union. He enjoyed fresh water fishing.

Funeral services will be at the convenience of the family, with private calling hours. Donations in his memory may be made to the Webster Emergency Medical Services, PO Box 869, Webster, MA 01570. Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main St., is directing the arrangements.
