Ralph Lawrence Collins, Jr. age 75 of Derry, NH and formerly of Everett, MA, passed away on Wednesday, July 9, 2008 at Haven Healthcare Center in Derry. Mr. Collins was born in Revere, MA on January 7, 1933, a son of the late Ralph Lawrence Collins Sr. and Virginia Logan Collins. Mr. Collins was an Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He loved basketball and baseball. He will be missed by his family and friends.
Mr. Collins is survived by his son, Ralph Lawrence Collins, III and his wife Debra of Derry, two step-grandchildren, Elizabeth and Vincent both of Derry. Surviving also are two sisters, Barbara Wetmore of Wakefield, MA, Jacqueline Bruce of Waterbury, CT and numerous nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his wife, Mildred Licciardi Collins.
Following cremation a memorial service was held on Tuesday, July 15, 2008 at 3:30 pm at Peabody Funeral Home and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry, NH. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, PO Box 3049, Syracuse, NY 13220-3049.
