Worcester- Stefania (Jeczarek) Siek, 93, formerly of Worcester, died Wednesday, March 12, in John Scott House Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Braintree.
Her husband, Marian Siek, died in 1996. She leaves nephews and nieces, including Alicja Barys of Randolph. A sister, Czeslawa Wasik of Poland,died in 2002. She was born in Plock, Poland, daughter of Stanislaw and Jozefa (Marciniak) Jeczarek and came to the United States in 1963. She later lived in Worcester, before moving to Dorchester in 1984 and moved back to Worcester in 1989.
Mrs. Siek was a kitchen worker at St. Vincent Hospital from 1964 to 1974.
She was a former member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Catholic Parish.
The funeral will be held Friday, March 14, from Henry-Dirsa Funeral Home, 33 Ward Street, with a Mass at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward Street. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. A calling hour will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 14, in the funeral home.
