Johnny G. Watts, 63, of Irwin County, died Friday, July 4 at his residence.
Memorial services will be held 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, July 9, at 312 Johnson Rd., Ocilla, GA 31774 with Rev. Glen Fussell officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mr. Watts was born March 21, 1945 in Franklin, Georgia to the late James L. and Fredie Lee Miles Watts. He lived in the community since 1982 from Lineville, Alabama. Mr. Watts worked for W.L. Patterson in Fitzgerald. He was a veteran of the United States Army and he was of the Baptist faith.
Mr. Watts is survived by his wife, Veronca Watts of Irwin County; children and their spouses: Angela & David Ring of Fitzgeald, Amanda Lynn & J.C. Dukes of Ocilla, Anna Lee & Matt Reese, Dianne & Tony Jenkins, Albert Hendrix, Jr., and Roger Wayne Hendrix, all of Fitzgerald and; 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; brother and sisters, Jesse Watts, Mary Ann Jones and Emma Watts all of Lineville, AL. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by one grandchild.
