Marion Kate Case, 76, of San Francisco, California, died Tuesday morning, July 8, 2008 at Oakwood Health Care Center, Walterboro.
Graveside funeral service will be held Thursday, July 10, 2008 at 10 o’clock at Dorchester Memory Gardens, 11000 Dorchester Road, Summerville.
Mrs. Case was born February 9, 1932 in San Francisco, California, daughter of the late Arthur and Karin Larson Murck. She attended schools in San Francisco, California. She enjoyed sewing, reading, painting, doing crafts with her grandchildren. She retired from the Department of Water Resources with the State of California as a travel accountant.
Surviving are:
3 daughters: Karin Elizabeth Gilbert and her husband Don of Ladson, Kathy Lee Case-Adams of Yuba City, California and Koelle Anne McDaniel and her husband Billy of North Charleston.
4 grandchildren: Seth Cox of Charleston, Daniel Cox of Texas, Donnie Gilbert, Jr. of Virginia and Kristina Gilbert of Ladson.
1 brother: Kurt Murck of Sacramento, California.
