Jesse H. Cox, 51, of Nashville, Georgia, died Thursday, July 3 at his residence.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, July 8, at Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Ocilla. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Fitzgerald. The family will receive friends from 7-9 Monday evening at the funeral home in Ocilla.
Mr. Cox was born November 21, 1956, in Tallahassee, Florida to the late Jesse J. and Carolyn Rogers Cox. He was a 1975 graduate of Evans County High School in Claxton. He served in the U.S Army for five years and was a self-employed carpenter and remodeler. He attended River Bend Baptist Church in Irwin County.
Mr. Cox is survived by his wife: Anne L. Cox of Nashville; two daughters and a son-in-law: Tricia & Robert Stone and Christine Cox, all of Alapaha; two grandchildren: Brenden Stone and Gracie Stone; one brother and sister-in-law: A.J. and Martha Cox of Ocilla; and one sister and brother-in-law: Lorraine & Mickey Patterson of Eatonton.
