Filomena “Minnie” Balchunis 81, of Medford died at the Glen Ridge Nursing Care Center, Medford. She was the wife of the late James G. Balchunis. Born in Medford she was the daughter of the late Mary (Ranzio) and Salvatore Bardaro.
A life long Medford resident she worked in the garment industry for many years and during her retirement she enjoyed playing Bingo.

Funeral mass will be celebrated Saturday at 11:00 AM in St. Francis Of Assisi Church, Fellsway West, Medford, the Rev. Joseph F. Scorzello officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Friends may visit Friday from 4 thru 8, at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford.
