Ann Diorio, 82 of Saugus, died Thursday after a long illness in the Union Hospital, Lynn, MA.
Born in Rome, NY, she lived in Saugus for the past 10 years and formerly of Revere and Medford. She was the daughter of the late Angelina (Carella) and Joseph Belcastro. Ann was a Stitcher for 20 years employed in Boston Garment Industry and retired in 1975. Beloved wife of Vincent J. Diorio, Jr. Devoted mother of Vincent J. Diorio III and his wife Robin of Saugus, Nancy Sicari and her husband Adam of Malden. Loving grandmother of Leah and Thomas Diorio, Gregory, Vincent and Anthony Sicari. Also survived by 7 loving great grandchildren. Sister of Nancy Leblanc and Joseph Belcastro both of Medford, Poncho and John Belcastro both of Woburn, Sammy Belcastro of Arlington and the late Albert Belcastro. Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Tuesday at 8 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in Immaculate Conception Church, 133 Beach St., Revere, at 9 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Monday 4 - 8. Services will conclude with burial at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
