Augusta – Mr. Roy T. Lawson, 53, beloved husband of Su Lawson, entered into rest on Wednesday, July 2, 2008 while on vacation with his family and close friends in Beaufort, S.C.
Funeral services will held on Saturday, July 5, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Platt’s Belair Road Chapel with the Rev. Kyu Haeng Huh officiating. Burial will follow at Bellevue Memorial Gardens.
In addition to his wife, Su, he is survived by his sons, Roy T. Lawson, Jr., and Morgan A. Lawson, a daughter, Megan L. Lawson, a brother, Wayne Lawson, and a grandson, Christopher Lawson.
If so desired, memorials may be made in Mr. Lawson’s name to the Korean Assembly of God, 3704 Belair Road, Augusta, Georgia, 30909.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening, July 4, 2008 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
