Maria Fatima Reis, age 59, of Fall River for 21 years, passed away July 5, 2008 at her home. Born in Sao Miguel, Azores, the daughter of Maria R. Dos Reis & the late Joao Dos Reis. She was a parishioner of St. Michael Church.
Besides her Mother of Fall River, she is survived by 4 children: Marcia & Mara Sousa, Wanderley & Tamara Souza all of Fall River. 4 siblings: Maria Ausiliadora R. Batista & Benvinda R. Faria both of Swansea, Joao Reis & Mariana R. Lourenco both of Fall River. 4 grandchildren & several nieces & nephews. She was the mother of the late Marcio Sousa & sister of the late Eugenio, Joao, & Sigisfredo R. Reis.
Her funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 1521 N. Main St. Fall River, Tuesday at 9:00 A.M. followed by a funeral mass in St. Michael Church at 10:00 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery. Calling hours Monday 5-8 P.M.
