Mary Alexander Welch, 94, of Tifton died Friday, July 4, 2008, at the Golden Living Center. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, July 7, 2008 in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Rev. Terrell Roberts will officiate with burial to follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 6, 2008, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Mrs. Welch was born on October 29, 1913 in Tift County and was the daughter of George W. Alexander and Maggie Blount Alexander, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Tom Welch. She was a homemaker.
