Obituary

Joseph Pine, died peacefully at his home in Clearwater, Florida, the husband of Helen M. (O´Keefe) Pine and the late Lillian (Sabatino) Pine, he was eighty three years old.

Born in Medford, he was the son of the late Sue (Capua) and James Pignone. He was raised and educated in Medford, attended Weaver College, in Ogden, Utah and the Rhode Island School of Design. Joe served in the US Navy from 1944 to 1946 a Veteran of World War II.

He has lived in Florida since 1984 and prior to that Tennessee.He was a active member in his church and a member of the 4th Degree Knights of Columbus, Cookville, Tennesse..

Surviving in addition to his wife Helen, are two daughters, Susan Brillo and her husband Joseph of Somerset, Ann Moye of Florida. Also seven loving grandchildren and five loving great grandchildren. One brother Richard Pignone, a sister Dolores Peck both of California, and his son in law Gil Gabriel.

He is predeceased by his wife Lillian (Sabatino) Pine, a son James Thomas and a daughter Arlene Gabriel and a borther James Pignone.

His funeral will be held from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St. Medford, on Friday, March 14, at 9:30 a.m. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St. Medford, at 10:30. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.

Visiting Hours at the funeral home on Thursday March 13, from 6 thru 9.
