Joseph F. Reardon, 78 of Medford, died Sunday after a long illness in the Lawrence Memorial Hospital, Medford, MA.
Born in Somerville, he lived in Medford for the past 40 years and was the son of the late Madeline (Pettis) and William Reardon. Joseph was and Accountant with Bank of Boston for 25 years and retired in 1987. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War from 1952 to 1954. Beloved husband of the late Alice C. (Camera) Reardon. Loving brother of Virginia Silverman of Revere, and the late William, Timothy, Arline and Dorothy Reardon. Cherished uncle of Daniel, William, Timothy, Thomas, Margaret, Maureen Reardon, Sheila Kline, Barbara Plourde and Madeline Silverman. Funeral from Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Wednesday at 10:30 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford, at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family from 9:30 --10:30 on Wednesday morning. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
