Manchester– George J. Labrecque, 70, died June 30, 2008 at his home following a brief illness.
He was born in Pinardville on December 31, 1937 the son of David and Clara (Therrien) Labrecque.
He served his country in the U.S. Air Force.
Prior to his retirement he worked as a truck driver for Associated Grocers for 32 years.
He was both parishioner and sexton of Sacred Heart Church.
He was predeceased by his wife Janet (LeBlanc) Labrecque on May 3, 1997.
Family members include his daughter Lisa Hammer, his son Joey Labrecque, both of Manchester, one grandson Ryan Labrecque of Portsmouth, two brothers Clement Labrecque, of Manchester, Leo Labrecque, of Goffstown, one sister Jeannine Proulx, of Goffstown.
Services: There are no calling hours.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday July 12th at 10 am in Sacred Heart Church, S. Main St. Burial will be at a later date in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Sacred Heart Church Repair Fund 247 S. Main St. Manchester NH 03102.
