Mrs. Rosemary A. Malloy, 80, of Medford died Sunday in the Blaire House Of Tewksbury following a lengthy illness. She is the wife of John Malloy with whom he shared more than 60 years of marriage. A Medford resident since 1948, she was raised in Everett. Born in Somerville, daughter of the late Frederick C. and Mary (Cronin) Harrington. She attended Everett schools. Prior to her retirement in 1986, She was a Customer Service Representative , employed by Nu-Way Cleansers of Medford.
Mrs. Malloy was a very religious woman active in St. Francis of Assisi parish activities, a former member of St. Francis choir, she was also active in the parish lunch program. In addition to her husband she is the devoted mother of Maureen Rodgers and her husband Maxwell of Tewksbury, Joanne Arcadipane and her husband Phillip of Raynham. Loving grandmother of 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Richard Harrington of NH. and the late Paul and John Harrington.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Thursday at 10:30 am. followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Francis Of Assisi Church, 441 Fellsway West, Medford, at 11:30 am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Wednesday 3 – 7pm. Contributions may be sent in Rosemary’s name to the American Parkinson´s Disease Association, 715 Albany Street, Suite 329 Boston, MA 02118. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
