John J. Cotter, 81, of Salem, NH died Fri. June 27th at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, MA.
John was born and educated in Lawrence, MA the son of the late Edmond and Rose (Andrews) Cotter. He worked at Meadowbrook Laundry in North Andover, MA for 39 years. John later worked for the Holy Family Hospital as a Stationary Fireman.
John was an avid sportsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He liked to read and watch Westerns. John loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Son: Edward Cotter of Salem, NH
Daughter: Susan & her husband Elmer Blankenship of Windham, NH
Brother: David Cotter of Covina, CA
Grandsons: Sean, Gregory and Brian Blankenship

Visitation will be Wed. July 2nd from 1:30 – 3pm at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH 03079. A Funeral Service will follow at 3PM at the Funeral Home.
