Pauline G. (Bender) Boyko, 84, of Salem, NH passed away peacefully on June 27th at Haven Health Center of Derry, NH.
Pauline was born in Bedford, PA to Harry and Cleo (Crissman) Bender. She was the seventh of nine children. Pauline met her husband, George, while they were both welders at Sun Shipbuilding Company in Chester, PA. She moved to Salem in 1949.
Pauline’s life revolved around her family and her faith. She served as treasurer of the Salem Council of Churches for 4 years, she was a secretary on the Pulpit Committee and a Deaconess for 6 years and treasurer of the Salem Chapter of Women’s Aglow for almost 10 years. In 1973 she joined the First Baptist Church. Pauline worked for many years at Granite State Electric in Salem.
She was predeceased by her siblings Orin Bender, Russell Bender, Vernon Bender, Wayne Bender, Rena Clark, Sara Bauer and Louise Barnhart.

Calling hours will be held Tues. July 1st from 4-8 PM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH. A Funeral Service will be held Wed. July 2nd at 11 AM at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery in Salem.
