Elizabeth C. "Bebe" (Coury) Casey, 78, of Fairhaven, died December 26, 2001 unexpectedly at St. Luke's Hospital.
She was the wife of the late Irving F. Casey, and daughter of the late Antone and Julia (Taylor) Coury.
Mrs. Casey was born in New Bedford and had lived in New Bedford for most of her life before moving to Fairhaven in 1985.
She was a communicant of Our Lady of Purgatory Church.
She was formerly employed as a sales clerk at Lillian London Bakery and the Millside Bakery.
She was a member of the Lebanese-American Veterans Auxiliary.
Survivors include a son, Edward F. Casey of Fairhaven; a daughter, Joan E. Casey-Amaral and her husband Paul Amaral, of Westport; 3 sisters, Annie Dow, Alice Coury and Theresa Gaffney, all of New Bedford; 2 grandchildren, Casey Amaral and James Amaral, both of Westport; and several nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Mabel Banville, Joseph Coury, Ernest Coury, Maurice Coury and Edward F. Coury.
