Vivian L. (Petitt) Renzulli, 88, of Medway died, Thursday, June 26, 2008 at Milford Regional Medical Center after a long illness. She was wife of John O. Renzulli for over 68 years.
Born in Franklin on December 13, 1919, she was a daughter of the late Everett and Rose (Pelkey) Petitt. Vivian was a resident of Medway for over 68 years. She grew up Franklin and graduated from Franklin High School.
Vivian worked for many years in the Herman Shoe Co. in Millis. Together with her husband, they operated the Grafton Inn for 12 years.
She was a devoted wife and mother and her fondest hobby was baking and decorating cakes. She also enjoyed belonging to the neighborhood “sewing club”.
Besides her husband, she is survived by; a daughter, Karen Hourihan and her husband, John of Medway, four sisters, Frances Wrenne, Roselyn Grenier and Sally Nolder, all of Florida and Sandy Gagliani of Medway, a brother, Donald Petitt and several nieces and nephews.
She was a sister of the late Mary Paquette, Eunice Muciello, Everett Petitt, Jr. and Warren, Arthur, Bruce and Barbara Petitt.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral from the Ginley-Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St. in Medway on Tuesday, July 1 at 9:15 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass at St. Joseph’s Church (downstairs chapel), 151 Village St. in Medway at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Medway.
Calling hours will be held on Monday from 6 – 8 p.m.
