BURBAGE, FELTON
Felton Burbage, 68, husband of Bertha Ard Burbage, of Summerville, died Thursday, June 26, 2008 at Medical University of SC, Charleston.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, June 29, 2008, at 2 o’clock at Old Fort Baptist Church, Summerville. Burial will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens, Charleston. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8 o’ clock Saturday evening.
Mr. Burbage was born January 3, 1940 in Berkeley County, son of the late Willard Burbage and Willeneter Mills Burbage. He graduated from Berkeley High School. He was a retired Welding Engineering Technician at the Charleston Naval Shipyard. He was a member of Old Fort Baptist Church and was a huge race enthusiast and enjoyed go-kart racing, dirt bikes and drag racing.
