Edna M. (Binnall) Weiss, 68, of Mansfield died on Thursday June 26, 2008 at Caritas Norwood Hospital in Norwood surrounded by the devotion of her family. She was the beloved wife of Robert A. Weiss. Mr. and Mrs. Weiss were married on August 8, 1958.
Born in Boston, MA on January 15, 1940 she was a daughter of the late Kenneth and Edna (Keith) Binnall.
Educated in Newton schools, Mrs. Weiss was a dedicated homemaker to her devoted family and had made her home in Mansfield for the past 43 years.
A lover of the outdoors Edna enjoyed vacationing in New Hampshire, gardening, feeding the birds and was fond of doing crafts.
In addition to her beloved husband of nearly 50 years she is survived by her loving children David A. Weiss of Foxboro, Scott R. Weiss and his wife Dorene of Mansfield, Dawn M. Ares of Foxboro, Debra L. Sargent and her husband Nick of Foxboro and the late James M. Weiss, also survived by her cherished grandchildren Timothy Sargent of Foxboro, Jay Sargent of Foxboro, Alyssa Weiss of Mansfield and Gabriele Ares of Foxboro.
Visiting hours, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Monday June 30th from 5-7 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home 55 North Main St. Mansfield.
Funeral services will be held at the conclusion of visiting hours at 7:00 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home. Burial will be private.
