New Bedford-Frederick G. Dowd age 53 died June 7th unexpectedly at St. Luke’s Hospital. Mr. Dowd was the son of the late Ross A. and Leona G. Dowd. He was born in Norfolk VA.
He was a fisherman who fished on various vessels. He will be truly missed by his friends, especially Darleen James who had long conversations with him and enjoyed his company, and the crew from the National Club.
In accordance with his wishes he was cremated.
A memorial service will be held at the Seaman’s Bethel at a date and time to be announced.
