Mrs. Dorothy A. McDougall, age 82, died Tuesday June 24, 2008, in Medford, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. Born in Cincinnati, OH, Dorothy has been a Medford resident for the last 70 years. She was the beloved daughter of the late Mildred (McGraw) & Gustav Tuschner.
Dorothy was a 1944 Medford High School graduate, where she was the co captain of the cheerleaders. She loved all the local sports teams, especially the Red Sox. She was a past president of the St. Joseph mother´s club and worked the elections for the city of Medford. Most of all Dorothy enjoyed her time with her loving family, especially her grandchildren.
Dorothy was the beloved wife of the late Lorne J. McDougall. Devoted mother of Philip McDougall and his wife Karen of Oakham, Catherine McDougall and her partner Tammy Doucette of North Reading, Lonny McDougall and his wife Jeanette of Nyack, NY, Alan McDougall of Medford and the late P. Scott McDougall and his wife Sheila of Wilmington. Also survived by 8 loving grandchildren and 6 loving great grandchildren. Sister of the late Virginia Sampson.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Friday at 8 AM. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford at 9 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
