
Terry A. Peirce, 58, of Haverhill, MA, died Sunday, June 22, 2008 in the Lawrence General Hospital, Lawrence, MA. Mr. Peirce was born in Madison, WI on March 16, 1950, a son of the late Harold F. and Lanora E. (Buckmeyer) Peirce. Mr. Peirce had lived in Texas, California and also in Massachusetts, where he owned and operated an excavation/concrete company in Wilmington. He then moved to Florida for 12 years where he also did excavation work. In 1999 he underwent a heart and kidney transplant that allowed him the time to be at both of his children’s graduations and weddings. He enjoyed his time in Florida, especially the beaches. Though his health held him back from many things he maintained his sense of humor and always enjoyed his work and his family.
He is survived by a son, Sheldon F. Peirce and his wife Raquel of Windham, NH, a daughter, Kristy A. Montgomery and her husband Matthew of Londonderry, NH, three grandchildren, Amber, Alyssa and Cody Peirce of Windham, a brother, Roger Peirce of Nixa, MO, a sister, Geraldine Peirce, Texas and also by nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by six brothers and sisters.
Visiting hours were held 5-8pm Wednesday, June 25, 2008 in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. Private graveside services and burial were held in the Cemetery on the Plain, Windham.
