Obituary

Bertrand A. Poulin, 82, a resident of Lawrence, Massachusetts, died on Friday, June 20, 2008 at the Lawrence General Hospital.

He was born on October 13, 1925 in Auburn, Maine to Damase and Simone (Dumas) Bilodeau. He was educated in Lewiston, Maine local schools and he attended Central Catholic High School in Lawrence, MA. He served during WWII in the United States Navy as a 3rd Class Cook. He worked as a Foreman for Doyle Lumber in Andover, MA. for over 30 years until his retirement. According to his family he loved to play 45's and Gin Rummy. He was also known for his Sunday dinners, and especially his Spanish Rice.

He was married for over 50 years before her passing in 2001 to the late: Yvette M. (Demers) Poulin. He is survived by his two daughters: Patricia and her husband Ronald Nastasi of Salem, NH and Donna and her husband Joseph McMahon of Needham, MA. as well as 5 grand children and 2 great grand children.

A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 24, 2008 at 11:00AM in St. Patrick Church in Lawrence, MA. A closing committal service will take place after in St. Mary-Immaculate Conception Chapel & Mausoleum in Lawrence, MA.
