Brian M. Scalley, age 44, of Woburn, died suddenly Thursday, June 19th. Born in Woburn he was the son of Barbara J. (Hunt) and John F. Scalley Sr. of Woburn.
Brian was a life-long resident of Woburn and was a graduate of Woburn High School. He worked for several years as a construction foreman with the North East Railroad. He enjoyed his family and loved spending time with his many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Brian is survived by his son, Shawn Scalley of Dracut. He is also survived by his sisters, Karen Flanders and her husband Don of Burlington, Martha Coates and her husband Myles of Methuen, Mary Jean Murphy and her husband David, Kathleen Viveiros and her husband Charlie all of Billerica, and brothers, Daniel of Woburn, James and his wife Karen of Tewksbury, David and his wife Judi of Twin Mountain, NH. He is further survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Brian is predeceased by his brother, the late John F. Scalley Jr.
His funeral will be held from the McLaughlin-Dello Russo Funeral Home 60 Pleasant St. Woburn, Tuesday, at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Barbara Church 138 Cambridge Rd. Woburn, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Monday 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn.
