Arcadia, FL/Worcester, MA—Marie A. (Bedard) Chauvin, 53, of Arcadia, Florida, formerly of Worcester, MA, passed away on June 19, 2008. She is survived by her husband and friend of 37 years, John A. Chauvin. She leaves two sons, John A Chauvin, Jr., and his wife Michelle of Bay City, MI and Michael D. Chauvin of Oxford, MA; four grandchildren, Christopher, Anthony, Meaghan, and Kaitlin. She also leaves her sister Elaine Bernier and her husband David and her nephew, Bryan of Dracut, MA. She was the daughter of Roland Bedard and the late Jeanne H. (Ryan) Bedard who passed away last year. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and many dear friends.
Marie attended North High School and was employed for 27 years at UMass Memorial Hospital. Marie was a team mother in the Connie Mack Little League for many years. She enjoyed many summer vacations on Cape Cod and winter vacations sailing the Caribbean.
Calling hours will be held at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street, Worcester, Wednesday, June 25, from 5-8 p.m. Funeral services will be graveside at Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton, Thursday, June 26, at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made payable to the “Levine Cancer Center” and mailed to UMass Memorial, One Biotech, 365 Plantation St., Suite 100, Worcester, MA 01605.
