WORCESTER-Mary T. Breen, 82, of Epworth St., died Thursday, June 19 in Parsons Hill Nursing Home. She leaves a niece, Maureen Carmody of Leicester; two nephews, John Breen of Worcester and Michael Breen of Auburn; three great nephews and three great nieces. She was predeceased by three brothers, Thomas, John and Joseph Breen.
Mary was born in Worcester, daughter of Michael and Bridget (Griffin) Breen and worked at Holy Cross College for 39 years, retiring in 1984. She was a member of St. Catherine of Sweden Church, a volunteer at St. Francis Home and she loved to travel to Ireland.
The funeral will be held on Monday, June 23, from LINDQUIST LUNDIN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Butler Street, with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Catherine of Sweden Church, 1 Wiser Avenue. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery. A calling hour will be held on the day of the funeral from 8:30-9:30 AM in the funeral home.
