John S. Fallow, Jr., 77, of Marion, MA died December 25, 2001 at home after a brief illness.
He was the husband of the late Elise P. (Holt) Fallow,and son of the late John S. and Marion J. (Jameson) Fallow.
Mr. Fallow was born in New Bedford, MA and raised in Fairhaven, MA. He was a graduate of Bowdoin College, class of 1948, and lived in Marion for most of his life. He also enjoyed spending time at the family's home in Dublin, NH.
He was the principle owner of Tweave, a textile mill in Norton, MA formerly the Debson Mill of New Bedford, MA.
Mr. Fallow was a member of the Beverly Yacht Club, the Kittansett Club, and the Dublin Lake Club in Dublin, NH.He was an avid sailor and enjoyed spending time with his family and many friends.
Survivors include a son, John S. Fallow, III of Old Town, Maine; 2 daughters, Georgia F. McDonald and Sylvia F. Brewster, both of Marion, MA; a sister, Jean Bevans of New Vernon, NJ; 5 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Service on Saturday, December 29th at 3 PM in St. Gabriel's Episcopal Church, 124 Front Street, Marion, MA.
