Patricia E. (Gallagher) Stockbridge, age 68, of Indigo Street, Mystic passed away Wednesday morning at her home.
Mrs. Stockbridge was born in Queens, NY on September 9, 1939 the daughter of James T. and Violet R. (Jenner) Gallagher. She was lovingly raised by her aunt and uncle, Frank & Irene (Gallagher) Fitzgerald in Naugatuck. She was a 1957 graduate of Waterbury Catholic High School and later graduated from Becker College.
A resident of Mystic since 1977, she was employed as a secretary at Pfizer for over 22 years before retiring in 2002. She was a communicant of St. Mary Mother of the Redeemer Church.
She was married to Richard Stockbridge in Naugatuck on June 13, 1964. They celebrated their 44th Wedding Anniversary last week. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters, Tracey E. Pachick and husband Tony of White Haven, PA and Laurie E. Stockbridge and fiancée John of Ledyard; a brother, Robert Gallagher of VA; and her beloved granddaughter, Grace Elizabeth Pachick. She was predeceased by a brother, Cornelius Gallagher.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary Mother of the Redeemer Church, 69 Groton Long Pt. Road, Groton on Monday at 11am. Fr. Grezgorz P. Brozonowicx, Pastor will celebrate. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Private burial of her urn will precede at Elm Grove Cemetery, Mystic. There are no visiting hours.
