Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Wednesday at 10am. Funeral Service in Trinity Episcopal Church, Bridgewater at 11am. Obituary Information
Mrs. Fortier died Saturday evening in her home after a period of failing health. She was born, raised, and educated in Brockton, daughter of the late Lloyd and Florence (Prescott) Humphreys. After raising her family, she had been employed by Bridgewater State College in the Food Services Department.
She was a member of the 49r’s Club in Bridgewater and the Lincoln AA. She was an avid Bingo player, and enjoyed playing cards with the women at Heritage Circle.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Henry E. Fortier, one son Mark Fortier of Bridgewater, two daughters Sharon Fortier of Bridgewater and Michelle Morse of Plymouth, one granddaughter Alicia Morse of Plymouth and two nieces. She was the sister of the late Milford “Buster” and William Humphreys, Mildred O’Brien and Alice Thomas.
