LaVerne Shipley Schwartz Hall, 82, of Summerville, widow of William Shipley, Arthur Schwartz and Oran Hall died Wednesday, June 18, 2008 at her residence.
Funeral Mass will be held Friday, June 20, 2008 at 9 o’clock at St. John the Beloved Catholic Church, Summerville. Burial will be private.
Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6 until 8 o’clock with a prayer service at 6 o’clock.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to: Feed the Children or American Cancer Society.
Mrs. Hall was born August 25, 1925 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, daughter of Virgil and Anna Michaels Niesslein. She was a graduate of St. Bonaface High School. She was a member of the Sertoma Club. She enjoyed playing bridge and in her younger years enjoyed playing tennis and golf. She retired from Oran Hall CPA Office as manager.

of Summerville. William Shipley and his wife Mary Ann of Columbia,
Allan Shipley and his wife Patricia of Moon Township, PA and Keith
Shipley and his wife Meloney of Asheville, NC
Grandchildren: Deann Anundson, David Hartman, Jr. and Jennifer McWreath all of Pennsylvania, Meghan Shipley and Sarah Shipley both of Columbia, Allan Shipley and Nicole Shipley both of Pennsylvania, Keith Shipley, Zack Shipley and Kayla Shipley all of Asheville, NC.

1 sister-in-law: Mary Niesslein of Summerville

She was predeceased by her husbands, her parents and a brother, Virgil Niesslein and a sister, Virginia Zottola.
