WINDHAM, NH/DUDLEY - Phyllis G. (Ciesluk) Czernicki, 99, formerly of Dudley, MA, died Tuesday, June 17, at Warde Health Center in Windham. Her husband of 49 years, Francis A. Czernicki, died in 1978.
She leaves three daughters, Natalie, wife of Larry Welch of Manchester, NH, Carolyn, wife of John Eastberg of Narragansett, RI, and Frances, wife of Joseph Martin of Lantana, FL; a brother, Edward “Champ” Ciesluk of Webster; 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
She was born and raised in Dudley, the daughter of Vincent and Mary T. (Makulski) Ciesluk. At the time of her marriage in 1929, she moved to the Providence area. She lived in New Hampshire since 2006.
The funeral will be held Monday, June 23, from the Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School St., Webster, MA, with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Joseph Basilica, 53 Whitcomb St., Webster. Burial will be in St. Joseph Garden of Peace. Calling hours will be from 2:00 to 6:00 PM Sunday, June 22, in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer that Masses be offered for the repose of her soul.
