Frank A. Signore, a lifelong Newton resident, died on Sunday, June 15 at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. He was 87 years old. The son of the late Antonio and Anna (Amendola) Signore, Mr. Signore graduated from Newton High and attended Northeastern University. He was retired from American Frozen Foods. Frank had a significant interest in meteorology, movies, and loved musicals, particularly Camelot and Annie Get Your Gun. He utilized humor to start most conversations. The beloved husband of the late Ethel (Mutanen), he was the loving father of 4 sons: Frank Jr. and his wife Jan of Oakton, VA, Richard and his wife Nina of Newton, Mark and his wife Laurie of Holliston and Adam and his wife Leslie of Medway: and to others to whom he felt like a father. He was pre-deceased by all of his many siblings Vincent J. Signore, Augustine P. Signore, John R. Signore, Mary Salvucci, Luigi F. Signore, and Domenica T. Visco. Grandfather of 10; Ian, Sean, Christine, Renée, Sarah, Jeffrey, Michael, Katherine, Matthew and Jessica. Loving uncle to dozens of nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Eaton Funeral Home 1351 Highland Ave Needham on Thursday June 19 at 9:00 AM followed by A Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph Church at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours on Wednesday from 5-8PM. Interment at Newton Cemetery.
