Paula R. Courtemarche, age 41, died unexpectedly on Thursday, June 12, at her home in Lowell.
She was born in Lowell, June 3, 1967, the beloved daughter of Richard and Mary (Riley) Courtemarche of Lowell.
Paula was educated through Lowell schools and graduated from the Greater Lowell Technical High School where she attended the Practical Nursing Program. She was a lifelong resident of Lowell and was a communicant of St. Michael's Parish.
Before her illness, Paula was employed as an LPN with Christian Hill Nursing Home for several years. She was also a patient transporter with St. John's Hospital.
Paula was a member of the Renaissance Club in Lowell. She enjoyed watching the Red Sox and New England Patriots and camping in Maine.
Besides her parents, Richard and Mary Courtemarche of Lowell, she is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Mary Beth and Anthony Parise of W. Townsend; her brother and sister-in-law, Thomas and Theresa Courtemarche of Ayer; a niece, Lindsey Parise, three nephews, Jacob and Andrew Courtemarche and Anthony Parise; her godmother, Mary Ellen Warsnip of Lowell; her cat, Patches; also many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.
Relatives and friends may call at the M. R. LAURIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 295 Pawtucket St., Lowell, on Tuesday, June 17, from 5 to 8pm. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday morning at at St. Michael's Church. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery.
