Annette R. (Caron) Wood, 86, a lifelong resident of Lawrence, Massachusetts, died on Saturday, June 14th, 2008 at the Sutton Hill Nursing Home in North Andover, MA.
She was born in Lawrence, MA. on November 11th, 1921 to Ernest and Yvonne (St. Pierre) Caron. She was educated in Lawrence local schools. She was an attendant of St. Patrick Church in Lawrence, MA. She worked as a Switch Board Operator for Lawrence General Hospital, Caritas Holy Family Hospital, Craig Systems in Lawrence, MA. and Merrimack Valley Elder Services. According to her family she loved and adored her children, grand children, and great grand children.
She is the wife of the late: J. Arthur Wood Sr. and she is survived by her daughters: Carol A. and her husband Robert Kolifrath and Nancy J. Wood all of Atkinson, NH. Three grand children: Cheryl Summerton of Sunapee, NH, Michael Kolifrath of Millbury, MA, and John Kolifrath of Lawrence, MA. as well as 5 great grand children. Also her sister: Jacqueline Caron of Lawrence, MA. her brother: Robert Caron of Groveland, MA. and her sister: Jean Wales and her husband Joseph of Kingston, NH. and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She is predeceased by her son: Joseph A. Wood Jr. her brother: Ernest Caron, and her sister: Camille Hird.
A funeral service will be said in her name on Tuesday, June 17th, 2008 at 9:30AM at the funeral home. A committal service will take place at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Lawrence, MA.
