Frederick Hatton, 92, of Little Compton, passed away Thursday, June 12, 2008 at Southpointe Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center in Fall River. He was husband of the late Mary L. (Stott) Hatton.
Born in Providence, son of the late Francis H. and Pearl L. (Wilbur) Hatton, he was a lifelong resident of Little Compton. A veteran of WWII, he served his country in the United States Army. Prior to retirement, he was a house painter for Compton Construction in Little Compton and other contractors. Mr. Hatton was a past member of the Little Compton Grange.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
He was brother of the late Wilbur Hattan, Elizabeth Ouellette and Dorothy Young.
Graveside service to which relatives and friends are invited will be Monday, June 16, 2008 at Seaconnet Cemetery / Wilbur Cemetery, West Main Rd., Little Compton at 11:00 A.M.
