At his home in Spring Hill, Florida, June 5, 2008, age 73. His wife of 52 years, Helen, was by his side when he passed.Born in Boston,MA and lived there most
of his life before retiring to Cape Cod, and then finally to FL. He was employed by Sears Roebucks for 48 years and was a dedicated, hard working provider for his family. He leaves his wife Helen of FL, daughter Susan and her husband Jeff Hinton of New Hampshire; son Paul and his wife Sheryl Glynn of Florida; daughter Patricia of Florida; grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Shaun, both of Florida; grandson Matthew of New Hampshire; sister of Irene Kimball of MA, and sister Margaret Reynolds of Virginia. He was preceded in death by brothers Eugene, Owen and Thomas and his sister Theresa. His family remembers him as a loving, kind and devoted man. All who knew him couldn’t help but be fond of him. He will be dearly missed but always remembered with much love. A viewing will be held between 4 and 8 p.m., Thursday, June 12 at Gormley Funeral Home, 2055 Centre St., West Roxbury. A funeral Mass will take place on Friday,June 13, at 10a.m. at St.Theresa’s Church at 2078 Centre St., with burial to follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, West Roxbury.
