John K. Bennett passed away on June 9th at home surrounded by his loving family at the age of 54. Survived by his beloved wife Sandra Miller of Plymouth, his son Mathew McGuire of Hyde Park and his daughters Melissa J. Bennett of Holbrook and Julie L. Taylor of Holbrook. He also leaves his brother Richard Bennett of Springhill, FL, his sisters Lynette Frongillo of Carver, Linda Gilbert and Sandra Walsh both of Plymouth, 5 grandchildren, James Bennett, Ann Taylor, Thomas, and twins Luke and Nicole Taylor, many nieces and nephews, grand nieces and nephews and many other family and friends. He was the brother of the late Robert Bennett. John graduated from Boston High School and had worked for Premere Color in Rockland as a bindry supervisor. He enjoyed the outdoors, golfing, tennis, bike riding, bow hunting, fishing, skiing, playing cards, an avid sports fan and especially loved Maui. He was a family oriented man who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and loved listening to his favorite band – U2. A prayer service will be held on Saturday June 14th at St. Bonaventure’s Church at 10AM. Visiting hours will be held at the Richard Davis Funeral Home, 619 State Rd. (Rt. 3A), Plymouth (Manomet) on Friday June 13th from 4 to 8 PM. Burial will be held at a later date.
